...finally we have flown the coup! our big adventure on the 'bucket' list has started....across Australia via Melbourne and The Great Ocean Road up to Adelaide and onto the Nullarbor, to Perth and beyond. First stop (over-night) is Gundagai.(Map) Great little town offering a wide variety of activities apart from "the Dog on the Tucker-box" there is golf on the 'Banks of the Bidgee' (Murrumbidgee River) with access direct from the River Caravan Park.
The council is very active updating the main street and it's looking very attractive! The River Caravan Park is in an ideal position right on the bank of the Murrumbidgee River. The township offers a year long calendar of events "what's on in Gundagai" so you can plan your trip and take in whatever interests you.
